The festive years are a four piece rock band based out of Austin, tx…

They were founded in 2012 by Christopher Loyd (gloriously pictured above). In an effort to give credence to those who have gone before, Loyd’s bandmates affectionately refer to him as “Doc”. The Festive Years consist of drummer Cliff Fitch, bassist Steven Stringer, and guitarist Schuyler Costello in addition to Loyd, who sings and plays guitar for the band as well. They are a collective of experienced show band musicians, giving their live show a flare not often found within the realms of alternative rock. They combine songwriting prowess with powerful instrumentation to give you a genre they have dubbed “Regular Rock”. Enjoy!
